The Benefits of Medical Marijuana for Chronic Pain Sufferers

Yes it does help with chronic pain, I have had back surgery 5 times already, I used to supplement my pain medication with Cannabis, A 1 Month supply of Vicodin would last me almost 3 Months using Commercial Grade Cannabis, Much longer with the Medical Quality, Most of the time all I can afford is $120Oz Commercial, It is $400.00+ Oz for Med Quality,Ridiculous! Right now it is Currently Illegal to grow and use in my state, Hope that will change soon!
Now that my Dr tested and found THC, He will no longer give me ANY pain medication until I test Negative for THC, Which means I would have to go without ANY Medication at all for more than 30 days to get the additional Medication I need, When I tried to inform him of the medical studies, he then stated that those that were doing the studies were smoking it and getting “High” themselves.
With the level of pain I would experience by doing this, Unbearable, So i guess I am stuck using more Cannabis per day, A friend of ours is fighting Hepatitis C, When her Doctor found THC in her blood test she was told that her treatments were “on hold” until the “Illegal Drugs” were out of her system, This is outrageous! They can give you Medications that are well known to destroy internal organs(Especially the Liver)through long term use but NOT a safer Medication like Cannabis.
Now, Quite a few Doctors are starting to get ugly about Cannabis through denial of treatment and Other Medications, Using the “Illegal Drug Use” excuse to punish their patients for choosing an Effective and Safer Medication, Something NEEDS to be done about these so called Medical Professionals, and hopefully SOON!!! If they keep messing with me I WILL eventually use their Office Name and the Individual doctor`s names in a Post to the Mainstream Media and see how they like THAT!!!!!!!!! Cannot Sue me if I tell the TRUTH and can PROVE my Accusations!!!!!

FYI – My wife has NOT had a Severe Migraine episode in over 3 years since she started using Cannabis again.
