I just want to add my “anecdotal” story. I work in education and a few years back I had a boy with ADHD who was failing 7th grade, badly. He started coming to school reeking of cannabis- and did his best work on those days. His behavior also improved. I said nothing about the smell. He passed 7th grade with a low “C”. He moved that summer, so I was unable to see if the trend continued.
Most people know very little about medical cannabis. There is a collection of medical studies on cannabis called “Granny Storm Crow’s list- July 2009″. Run a search for it. There is a whole section on ADD/ADHD as well as many other conditions, such as Alzheimer’s, diabetes, MS, migraines, osteoporosis, PTSD, cancers, Crohn’s/IBS, Parkinson’s, fibro and a whole lot more. Everyone should at least take a quick look to see the wide variety of conditions that cannabis can treat. These are “real science” articles from medical journals, PubMed and MedScape, not junk from “High Times”. Please educate yourself about the medical uses of cannabis. Thank you.
