New Godzilla vs. Kong merchandise provides insight into Warbat, Hellhawk, and more. The next MonsterVerse fight is getting closer. To create even more excitement, Legendary released a new trailer, showing more of the kaiju action.
It wouldn’t be the MonsterVerse without monsters. 2014 Godzilla reintroduces the iconic reptile to the world, while making its debut with a new creature dubbed MUTO. Kong: Skull Island There was no shortage of dangerous creatures, but the star was the Skullcrawler. Godzilla: King of the Monsters opened the floodgates, establishing that the world is full of Titans. Godzilla vs. Kong seeks to further expand the world. Yes, the main attraction is the brawl between the iconic characters, but that doesn’t mean fans won’t see new monsters, either. Godzilla vs. Kong’s The first trailer showed the monkey fighting monsters called Warbats, and winged creatures called Hellhawks were also briefly shown. Once again, it looks like fans are going to be in for a treat when it comes to unique creatures.
Godzilla vs. Kong gets more merchandise in the form of Monogram bag clips. The image (via Kaiju News Outlet) gives an overview of all the monsters revealed so far, including the new Titans Warbat and Hellhawk. Of course, it’s important to note that the creatures are styled for the clips. Check them out below.
Interestingly, two of the clips are silhouetted exclusives. The exclusive Q could be some mechanical threat. As for the Exclusive B, it looks like a patch or some badge. The exterior design resembles the G-Team logo of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, so maybe it’s a bag clip for that. However, it’s hard to imagine why the company would want to make this a mysterious exclusive if that is the case.
There is still a lot of mystery around Godzilla vs. Kong’s story, with a key element being why Godzilla attacked humanity. There are also Warbat and Hellhawk to consider. It’s unclear if they will have a significant role, or if they will just be cannon fodder for fighters. It’s hard to imagine them doing a lot when the main conflict is at the center, but fans will have to wait and see. No matter what, Godzilla vs. Kong really looks like a slugfest monster. Ahead of the film’s release, fans will be able to enjoy some prequel content in the form of graphic novels, one from Godzilla’s perspective while the other features Kong.
