Paul Bettany continues to hype with the second big star guest on WandaVision. The show is known to have caused some surprising moments, and one of the most shocking came at the end of Episode 5 when Evan Peters’ Pietro appeared in Westview. WandaVision Episode 6 dramatically changed the course of the show. In addition to the synthezoid learning more about the real state of Westview, he also got his first look at the outside world as he tried to break out of the mystical barrier. Amid all the chaos that’s going on in Westview right now, it looks like there’s still something else brewing. WandaVision with Bettany still relentless in teasing this mysterious character, this time around, in a new interview with Squire. He didn’t reveal any relevant details about the impact of their arrival on the series, but he says it wasn’t disclosed as Peters’ appearance, and he had long dreamed of working with them.
“This is the theory that there is a mysterious Avenger that’s going to appear in WandaVision, and people seem to think the mysterious Avenger is Doctor Strange. The truth is, of all the characters we were trying to keep secrets, a lot of them leaked out. There’s one character that hasn’t been revealed and it’s very exciting, he’s an actor I’ve dreamed of working with all my life. have some amazing scenes together, and the chemistry between us is, I think, amazing, and it was just fireworks on set. So I’m really excited that people are seeing this stuff. “
The way Bettany worded her last quote, it’s unclear whether he was implying that the character in question was part of the Avengers movies. Doctor Strange’s name may be an indication, however, that the future Sorcerer Supreme won’t be the next surprise player. Come to think of it, there’s a good chance they won’t even be a hero / villain in the MCU, as that won’t be much of a surprise anyway. The franchise is known for its interconnected storytelling with Avengers: Endgame becoming the culmination of years of implementation, so anything not up to this level could be slightly disappointing.
Ahead of WandaVision Upon the release of Episode 7, Marvel Studios rolled out a preview clip, teasing what to expect from the series. As expected, the sitcom-influenced Disney + show is now set in the 2010s, with its main inspiration being Modern Family. Scarlet Witch is exhausted, however, leading to trouble at Westview. Interestingly, Vision and Pietro were nowhere in the video.
