South Florida received a bizarre penalty Thursday in its loss to North Carolina State.

The Bulls have kicked off the Wolfpack to start the second half of the contest. The state of North Carolina managed to repel the ball, but South Florida was called up for an equipment penalty at the kick-off. Two of the team’s players wore the same shirt number.

South Florida wide receiver Omarion Dollison and safety guard Christian Williams are both listed as No.4 on the roster, and both players appeared to be on the field at the same time during the game. second year for the Bulls. Dollison is from Columbia, SC, and Williams is from Daphne, Ala.

The penalty was only part of a long night for South Florida.

Ricky Person Jr. of North Carolina State scored three touchdowns in the first half and was one of two Wolfpack players to run over 100 yards in a 45-0 shellacking.

It was North Carolina state’s first opening shutout of the season in 17 years. He had 105 rushing yards on 16 carries with two touchdowns and added three catches for 43 yards and another touchdown.
