“The Masked Singer” is gearing up for its triumphant return.
The sixth season of the popular song contest show is scheduled to air on FOX on September 22 at 8 p.m. EST.
Behind the scenes featuring panelist Robin Thicke obtained by Fox 5 New York, fans got a glimpse of all the action that is not seen when the camera rolls for the show.
The video begins with Thicke, 44, hiding a binder filled with “confidential information” that viewers are not “yet aware of” before embarking on a tour of the set. The “Blurred Lines” frontman is briefly joined by fellow panelist Ken Jeong.

“Everything is bigger this season,” Thicke said. “Except Ken.”
“Yes, exactly”, agrees the actor.

Next, viewers are taken through ‘the mysterious mouth of’ The Masked Singer ‘,’ as Thicke puts it, into a small backstage gallery showcasing costumes from past winners, including Wayne Brady’s fox, the angel. nightlife of Kandi Burruss and the T-Pain Monster.
The singer then teased one of this year’s performers.
“This year we have some amazing costumes. One is the banana split,” Thicke reveals. “The caterpillar – which is one of the favorite costumes – and then we have a mallard that’s got a pang in his heart singing a mean country song.”

Fans then get a glimpse of the back of the LED lights that light up the stage, which Thicke says “costs more than my life.”
“This season I’m supposed to do a duet with someone, so don’t miss that,” he teases.

A series of images of some of the upcoming contestants have also been released.
As Thicke noted, the lineup features a dapper duck and a banana split – a duo with one member dressed in banana and the other in ice cream. Other contenders this season include a Bull, Dalmatian, Cupcake, Hamster and the Queen of Hearts.
