Virat Kohli shares Whistlepodu moment: The Indian captain entertained Chepauk viewers to the fullest today.
On day two of the second test of the ongoing English tour of India in Chennai, Indian captain Virat Kohli appears to be having fun at MA Chidambaram Stadium.
Kohli, who has interacted with spectators on several occasions in the past, especially during home tests, greeted supporters at the stadium by constantly gesturing to them while playing.
With this match being the first to allow supporters to enter stadiums in India since the COVID-19 pandemic, Kohli took the opportunity by asking them to cheer on the home team time and time again.

Given the “Whistlepodu” culture of the Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings on the site, Kohli took it upon himself to whistle at the spectators before asking them to turn up their cheers.
Kohli, who was fired for a duck by England all-rounder Moeen Ali yesterday, made a point of keeping fans entertained today by constantly interacting with them.
After India scored 329/10 in 95.5 overs, the England batsmen were found to be missing on a difficult surface for the stick. Having lost seven wickets so far, visitors might not be able to check in the sequel.

Kohli continually saying “more sound, more sound” from the crowd, I don’t think anyone appreciates the presence of the crowd on the pitch than Kohli.
