‘What a catch’: Mitchell Santner amazes everyone with huge catch to send Mitchell Marsh back to 1st T20I

Mitchell Santner amazes everyone: the New Zealand all-rounder made his presence felt on the pitch at the Hagley Oval.

On the inaugural T20I of the ongoing Australian tour of New Zealand in Christchurch, New Zealand all-rounder Mitchell Santner put on a formidable fielding effort to send his Australian counterpart Mitchell Marsh back.

It all happened on the penultimate delivery of the 13th when Marsh’s attempt to cut New Zealand all-rounder Kyle Jamieson led to his dismissal. In what was a short and wide delivery, Marsh saw it as a valid opportunity to score runs.

That said, the right batsman failed to clear Santner at the back point. With Marsh timing the ball well, Santner had little time to move and complete the catch, but his quick reflexes helped him in an incredible and all over the Hagley Oval.
