After its predecessor left gamers shaking in their pants, it’s no wonder gamers are thrilled to return and to be afraid. When starting the game for the first time, players will start with a little paper hat. But, as players explore, more hats become findable and players can change those hats. But where are these adorable little hats hiding? We have answers!

Every hat in Little Nightmares 2

In total, there are 12 hats that players can find. The player already starts with one, but the other eleven can be difficult to find. As they are spread throughout the city and the city holds millions of secrets, it can be a bit tricky to narrow down their location. Here’s where to explore in the world of Little nightmares 2.

There is a hat that players will not be able to find. The Mokujin mask is a pre-order bonus, so only players who have pre-ordered the game will have access to it. For players who have pre-ordered, the hat must be in the in-game inventory when the game is first started.

The raccoon hat, or the Coonskin cap, can be found in the hunter’s house. Players can find this hat in front of the kitchen and in the hallway. The hat will be in the left room, just sitting on the floor in the middle of the room.

After meeting the hunter, the player should be able to find the Rain hat. There will be a broken bridge that players will have to cross. Cross the bridge and climb onto the cages next to it. Go to the top of the hanging cage and jump on it to shake the hat.

Players looking for Hat name will be able to recover it thanks to the DLC Nome’s Attic. Once players find and collect the key from the attic of the house, a name will appear wearing the same hat. Follow the nome and complete the puzzle to collect the nome’s hat.

The Soccer ball hat will be in the schoolyard. The hat sits on a dumpster near the front door.

Go to the school to find the Tin can hat. This item will be in the library, which should happen after your second meeting with the teacher. In the library, players will find a sliding ladder. Move the ladder to the next shelf and the player should be able to reach the hat.

After school, players will meet at the city hospital, where they can find Teddy bear hat. This hat will be in the nursery after completing the X-Ray puzzle. Climb the shelves on the right to find this hat.

While searching for the key in the morgue, it is also possible for players to start searching for the Mummy hat. The hat will be enclosed in a storage container just to the left of the dissection table.

The Postman hat will be found once players reach the mail room at the Pale City Post Office. Find a stack of letters and jump in, which should reveal a secret tunnel. Go through the tunnel until there is a small room with the postman’s hat.

Once players have passed through the Pale Town, they will find each other in the Town Toy Store. Once there, players can collect the Newsie cap. This item is on a shelf in the back left corner of the store. Players will have to push the basket to climb up and grab this hat.

The final hat, the Thin man hat, will be given to players once the game is over.
