When Jersey Shore premiered on MTV in 2009, its cast of bright-eyed guidos and guidos were catapulted into instant fame. Viewers couldn’t get enough of their over-the-top personality, unique style, and GTL mantra (gym, tanned laundry). So when the original episodes wrapped up in 2012, it was no surprise that fans backed almost every side project that every member of the cast announced. In fact, most have gotten so enterprising outside of the franchise that they probably don’t need the show anymore to earn income.
As expected in the reality TV world, every star gets a hefty paycheck for their appearance in the spin-off, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Thanks to six seasons of the original Jersey Shore series, in addition to spinoffs and side projects of the cast, most of the team members have gained high net worth and do not need come back for more seasons of Family holidays. With the group now split between the ribs, their excitement at seeing each other is palpable through the screen.
